How to fold your Cosatto Wow XL for collection

Carrycot off and packed alongside, then the frame folds flat with the seat on or off and locks itself shut.

Watch it first

Get it ready

  1. Step 1: Empty the basket and any pockets. No need to clean it: we wash every buggy.

  2. Step 2: Take off the rain cover, footmuff, cup holder and anything else clipped on. They go in the box too if you told us about them.

Take it apart

  1. Step 3: Raise the carrycot hood, press the release button on top of the hood frame and lift the carrycot off by the hood frame.

  2. Step 4: Take out the carrycot mattress and liner and fold the two bars in the base down so it packs flat.

  3. Step 5: To pack the seat unit separately, press the release buttons on both sides of it and lift it off. To keep it on, turn it to face forwards and sit it fully upright.

  4. Step 6: Lift out the front and rear adaptors so they are not damaged in the box.

Fold the frame

  1. Step 7: Press the buttons on each side of the handlebar and slide it to its lowest position.

  2. Step 8: Press and hold the release button on the side of the frame, below the handlebar.

  3. Step 9: Keep holding it and pull both levers under the side tubes back towards you.

  4. Step 10: Push the handlebar down until the frame folds flat and the autolock clicks shut.

Good to know

  • The frame lies flat rather than standing up, so lay it in the box wheels down.
  • If the box is tight, the wheels come off: press the button on each front wheel stem, or at each rear axle, and pull the wheel away.
  • If you have a second seat or carrycot for the double set-up, pack it alongside the first one.

Pack the box

  1. Step 11: Put the folded frame in the box first, wheels down.

  2. Step 12: Slide the seat unit or carrycot in beside it, then tuck the small bits into the gaps. A carrier bag keeps them together.

  3. Step 13: Close the flaps and re-seal the box with the roll of tape we sent: along the middle seam, over the ends and down the sides.

  4. Step 14: Peel the backing off the wallet, with the DPD label still inside, and stick it on top beside the tape, over any old labels. There is nothing to print.

Buttons and handles move about a little between production years. If yours looks different, the fold steps in your manual are the ones to follow.
