About each Egg we buy

  • Egg 3

The Egg 3 is a solid, well-padded pushchair with a large reversible seat and a comfortable ride on its big puncture-free wheels. It is very heavy and the basket is small, so it suits walkers more than parents lifting it into a car every day. Add the carrycot for a newborn, or tandem adaptors if a second baby comes along.

    Best for:
Parents who want a plush ride and mostly walk
    Comes with:
frame, seat unit and rain cover
    New:
    about £879

  • Egg Z

The Egg Z is a compact stroller from Egg with a lie-flat seat, so it works from birth if you are happy with a forward-facing view. It folds small in one move and stands up, making it easy on buses and in boots, though it is too big for most cabin sizers. A good everyday or second buggy for town.

    Best for:
Parents wanting a small second buggy for town
    Comes with:
frame, seat unit and rain cover
    New:
    about £399

Selling a used Egg

Egg’s prams are built for a plush, well-padded ride. The Egg 3 is the full-size pushchair, with a large reversible seat, big puncture-free wheels and the option of a carrycot or tandem adaptors. The Egg Z is the compact stroller, with a seat that lies flat and a one-move fold.

Both came with a rain cover, and the Egg 3 with a seat liner too. The carrycot was an extra for the Egg 3, so if you bought one, tell us when you get your price and send it with the pushchair.

What's a used Egg worth?

We pay up to £150 for a complete Egg 3 in the best condition. For any Egg, what we pay depends most on its condition, then on what's included. Pick your model for its full guide by condition.

Which Egg models do you buy?

All 2: Egg 3 and Egg Z. Each has its own price guide, with what we pay in each condition.

What should I send with my Egg?

Everything it came with that you still have. As standard: Egg 3, frame, seat unit and rain cover; Egg Z, frame, seat unit and rain cover. Add the rain cover, adaptors or footmuff if you have them. Missing parts come off the offer, so tell us about them when you get your price.

Do you buy worn or faulty Egg buggies?

Yes. Well used, and poor or faulty, are conditions we price, so describe your Egg honestly and the offer reflects it. You still get the free box and free collection.
