How to fold your Babyzen YOYO3 for collection

The 6+ seat or 0+ newborn pack stays on and the frame folds in one go into a small, self-locking package.

Get it ready

Step 1: Empty the basket and any pockets.
Step 2: Take off the rain cover, footmuff, cup holder and anything else clipped on. They go in the box too if you told us about them.

Step 3: If you have the bassinet fitted, lift it off the frame and pack it separately, as it does not fold with the buggy.

Step 4: Turn the front wheels so they point straight ahead and put the brake on.
Step 5: Push the canopy all the way back.
Step 6: Press the two handlebar buttons at the same time and fold the handlebar down.
Step 7: Reach under the seat and press the small button on the fold release.
Step 8: Keeping the button pressed, pull the red release lever towards you until it clicks.
Step 9: Lift the buggy by the frame and let it fold down.
Step 10: If it has not locked, press the frame inwards until the fold latch clicks shut.

The 0+ newborn pack is designed to fold with the frame, so you can leave it on.
If the front wheels are not facing forward the frame will not fold in one smooth movement.
The handlebar does not lock when folded, so hold the frame, not the handlebar, when lifting the folded buggy.

Step 11: Put the folded frame in the box first, wheels down.
Step 12: Slide the seat unit or carrycot in beside it, then tuck the small bits into the gaps. A carrier bag keeps them together.
Step 13: Tape the box shut along every seam. There is no label to print: the DPD driver brings it.

Buttons and handles move about a little between production years. If yours looks different, the fold steps in your manual are the ones to follow.
