How to fold your Babyzen YOYO2 for collection

The 6+ seat or 0+ newborn pack stays on and the frame folds in one go into a small, self-locking package.

Watch it first

Get it ready

  1. Step 1: Empty the basket and any pockets. No need to clean it: we wash every buggy.

  2. Step 2: Take off the rain cover, footmuff, cup holder and anything else clipped on. They go in the box too if you told us about them.

Take it apart

  1. Step 3: If you have the bassinet fitted, lift it off the frame and pack it separately, as it does not fold with the buggy.

Fold the frame

  1. Step 4: Turn the front wheels so they point straight ahead and put the brake on.

  2. Step 5: Fold the canopy back.

  3. Step 6: Press the two handlebar buttons at the same time and fold the handlebar down.

  4. Step 7: Reach under the seat and press the button on the fold release.

  5. Step 8: Keeping the button pressed, pull the red release lever towards you until it clicks.

  6. Step 9: Lift the buggy by the frame and let it fold down.

  7. Step 10: If it has not locked, press the frame inwards until the fold latch clicks shut.

Good to know

  • The 0+ newborn pack is designed to fold with the frame, so you can leave it on.

Pack the box

  1. Step 11: Put the folded frame in the box first, wheels down.

  2. Step 12: Slide the seat unit or carrycot in beside it, then tuck the small bits into the gaps. A carrier bag keeps them together.

  3. Step 13: Close the flaps and re-seal the box with the roll of tape we sent: along the middle seam, over the ends and down the sides.

  4. Step 14: Peel the backing off the wallet, with the FedEx label still inside, and stick it on top beside the tape, over any old labels. There is nothing to print.

Buttons and handles move about a little between production years. If yours looks different, the fold steps in your manual are the ones to follow.
