How to fold your Egg Egg 3 for collection

Step 1: Empty the basket and any pockets.

Step 2: Take off the rain cover, footmuff, cup holder and anything else clipped on. They go in the box too if you told us about them.

Step 3: To take off the seat unit, press in the grey buttons on each side of the seat and lift it up off the frame.

Step 4: To take off the carrycot, lift the release lever on the back and pull it straight up by its handle.

Step 5: Take off any car seat adaptors, as the frame will not fold with them fitted.

Step 6: Put the parking brake on and set the front wheels to swivel.

Step 7: Slide the handle down to its lowest position.

Step 8: Rotate the centre section of the handle fully towards you to release the hub locks.

Step 9: Lower the handle to the floor and push until it locks with the latch on the lower frame.

Step 10: Lift the carry handle in the middle of the basket so the front of the frame moves towards the back.

Step 11: Check the travel lock at the front of the frame has clicked on.

Step 12: Put the folded frame in the box first, wheels down.

Step 13: Slide the seat unit or carrycot in beside it, then tuck the small bits into the gaps. A carrier bag keeps them together.

Step 14: Tape the box shut along every seam. There is no label to print: the DPD driver brings it.
