How to fold your Egg Z for collection
The seat stays on and the whole buggy folds one-handed from the handle.
Watch it first
Get it ready
Step 1: Empty the basket and any pockets. No need to clean it: we wash every buggy.
Step 2: Take off the rain cover, footmuff, cup holder and anything else clipped on. They go in the box too if you told us about them.
Take it apart
Step 3: Press down the buttons on both sides of the bumper bar and slide it up to take it off.
Fold the frame
Step 4: Close the canopy.
Step 5: Hold the button on the underside of the handle with your thumb.
Step 6: Press the second button under the handle with your fingers.
Step 7: Push the handle forwards and let the buggy fold.
Step 8: Keep folding until the frame is fully closed.
Good to know
- The wheels come off if the box is tight: press the button on the wheel bracket and pull each wheel outwards.
Pack the box
Step 9: Put the folded frame in the box first, wheels down.
Step 10: Slide the seat unit or carrycot in beside it, then tuck the small bits into the gaps. A carrier bag keeps them together.
Step 11: Close the flaps and re-seal the box with the roll of tape we sent: along the middle seam, over the ends and down the sides.
Step 12: Peel the backing off the wallet, with the FedEx label still inside, and stick it on top beside the tape, over any old labels. There is nothing to print.
Buttons and handles move about a little between production years. If yours looks different, the fold steps in your manual are the ones to follow.
