How to fold your Joolz Day+ for collection
Seat or cot off, then the frame folds upright and stands on its own.
Watch it first
Get it ready
Step 1: Empty the basket and any pockets. No need to clean it: we wash every buggy.
Step 2: Take off the rain cover, footmuff, cup holder and anything else clipped on. They go in the box too if you told us about them.
Take it apart
Step 3: Close the sun hood.
Step 4: Press the release buttons on both sides of the seat and lift it off.
Step 5: If the cot is fitted instead, press its release buttons on both sides and lift it off.
Fold the frame
Step 6: Lock the front wheels with the swivel lock.
Step 7: Put the brake on.
Step 8: Push the handlebar down to its lowest height.
Step 9: Pull the fold levers on both sides of the handlebar.
Step 10: Fold the handlebar forward and down.
Step 11: Lift the frame up by the middle until it folds upright and clicks locked.
Good to know
- Always lock the front wheels before folding. Joolz warn that the tyres can deform if they are folded unlocked.
- The rear wheels come off, which makes the fold much smaller if the box is tight.
Pack the box
Step 12: Put the folded frame in the box first, wheels down.
Step 13: Slide the seat unit or carrycot in beside it, then tuck the small bits into the gaps. A carrier bag keeps them together.
Step 14: Close the flaps and re-seal the box with the roll of tape we sent: along the middle seam, over the ends and down the sides.
Step 15: Peel the backing off the wallet, with the DPD label still inside, and stick it on top beside the tape, over any old labels. There is nothing to print.
Buttons and handles move about a little between production years. If yours looks different, the fold steps in your manual are the ones to follow.
