How to fold your UPPAbaby Cruz V2 for collection
Toddler seat comes off, then the frame folds in one go and locks itself shut.
Watch it first
Get it ready
Step 1: Empty the basket and any pockets. No need to clean it: we wash every buggy.
Step 2: Take off the rain cover, footmuff, cup holder and anything else clipped on. They go in the box too if you told us about them.
Take it apart
Step 3: Close the canopy on the toddler seat.
Step 4: Press the release buttons on both sides of the toddler seat and lift it off the frame.
Step 5: If you have a bassinet on, press its release buttons on both sides and lift it off.
Fold the frame
Step 6: Put the brake on with the red pedal.
Step 7: Push the handlebar down to its lowest position.
Step 8: Pull up the two release triggers on the handlebar and rotate the handlebar down to the ground.
Step 9: Check the storage lock on the side of the frame has clicked shut.
Good to know
- If you need to keep the seat on, it must face forwards and be set to the second most upright recline.
Pack the box
Step 10: Put the folded frame in the box first, wheels down.
Step 11: Slide the seat unit or carrycot in beside it, then tuck the small bits into the gaps. A carrier bag keeps them together.
Step 12: Close the flaps and re-seal the box with the roll of tape we sent: along the middle seam, over the ends and down the sides.
Step 13: Peel the backing off the wallet, with the DPD label still inside, and stick it on top beside the tape, over any old labels. There is nothing to print.
Buttons and handles move about a little between production years. If yours looks different, the fold steps in your manual are the ones to follow.
