How to fold your UPPAbaby Vista V3 for collection
Toddler seat and bassinet come off, then the frame folds in one go and locks itself shut.
Get it ready
Step 1: Empty the basket and any pockets.
Step 2: Take off the rain cover, footmuff, cup holder and anything else clipped on. They go in the box too if you told us about them.
Take it apart
Step 3: Close the canopy on the toddler seat.
Step 4: Press the release buttons on both sides of the toddler seat and lift it off the frame.
Step 5: If you have the bassinet on, press its release buttons on both sides and lift it off.
Step 6: Take the mattress out of the bassinet and collapse it flat.
Fold the frame
Step 7: Put the brake on.
Step 8: Make sure the front wheels are not locked straight, so they can swivel.
Step 9: Pull the handlebar out to its highest position.
Step 10: Pull up the two release triggers on the handlebar and rotate the handlebar down to the ground.
Step 11: Check the storage lock on the side of the frame has clicked shut.
Good to know
- If the box is tight, the rear wheels come off. Press the button in the centre of each wheel hub and pull the wheel away.
- If you need to keep the seat on, it must face forwards and be reclined to the second most upright position.
Pack the box
Step 12: Put the folded frame in the box first, wheels down.
Step 13: Slide the seat unit or carrycot in beside it, then tuck the small bits into the gaps. A carrier bag keeps them together.
Step 14: Tape the box shut along every seam. There is no label to print: the DPD driver brings it.
Buttons and handles move about a little between production years. If yours looks different, the fold steps in your manual are the ones to follow.
