How we compare with eBay, Facebook Marketplace and Vinted

About each Cybex we buy

  • Cybex Balios S Lux

The Balios S Lux is Cybex's mid-priced all-rounder, usable from birth with a lie-flat reversible seat and able to take a carrycot or car seat. It pushes smoothly on mixed surfaces thanks to puncture-proof wheels and suspension. The fold is a bit awkward at first and it is fairly wide.

    Best for:
Parents wanting a Cybex travel system on a moderate budget
    Comes with:
frame, seat unit and rain cover
    New:
    about £479.95

  • Cybex Coya

The Coya is Cybex's luxury travel buggy, folding small enough for most cabin bag sizers yet reclining enough for a newborn. It is light, quick to fold one-handed and looks smarter than most travel buggies. The seat only faces forward and the small wheels are happiest on pavements.

    Best for:
Families who fly often and want a premium look
    Comes with:
    frame and seat unit
    New:
    about £499.95

  • Cybex e-Priam

The e-Priam is the Priam luxury pram with an electric motor that helps on hills and can gently rock a sleeping baby via an app. The current version comes with a carrycot that folds flat on the frame, making the whole thing easier to store. It is heavy and pricey, but a real help if your daily walks involve steep streets.

    Best for:
Hilly or long daily walks where extra push helps
    Comes with:
frame, seat unit, carrycot, rain cover and adaptors
    New:
    about £1,649.95

  • Cybex Gazelle S

The Gazelle S is a single pushchair that grows into a double by adding a second seat or carrycot, with more than 20 layouts. Storage is excellent and it folds with a seat on, but it is wide and gets heavy to push with two children aboard. A sensible buy if you expect a sibling within a couple of years.

    Best for:
Families planning a second child close in age
    Comes with:
frame, seat unit and rain cover
    New:
    about £699.95

  • Cybex Mios 3

The third-generation Mios is Cybex's premium city pushchair: slim, light for its class and usable from birth with a carrycot or lie-flat seat. It folds small with one hand and stands up, which helps in flats and small boots. The basket is on the small side and it prefers pavements to muddy paths.

    Best for:
City parents wanting a light, stylish pushchair from birth
    Comes with:
    frame and seat unit
    New:
    about £639.9

  • Cybex Priam 4

The fourth-generation Priam is Cybex's flagship luxury pram, sold as a modular system of frame, seat and carrycot. It pushes beautifully thanks to big wheels and all-wheel suspension, and the seat goes from upright to lie-flat easily. It is heavy and bulky when folded, so it suits families who walk more than they drive.

    Best for:
Parents who want a premium ride and mostly travel on foot
    Comes with:
    frame, seat unit and adaptors
    New:
    about £1,199.85

Selling a used Cybex

Cybex sells most of its prams in parts: a frame, a seat pack and a carrycot, bought together. The Priam is its full-size pram, the e-Priam adds an electric push assist, and the Mios is the lighter city version. The Gazelle S converts to a double, the Balios S Lux is the lower-priced all-rounder, and the Coya is a cabin-size travel buggy.

Because the parts were bought separately, tell us exactly which ones you have when you get your price. The seat pack, carrycot and car seat adaptors all count, and an e-Priam should go with its battery and charger.

What's a used Cybex worth?

We pay up to £215 for a complete Cybex e-Priam in the best condition. For any Cybex, what we pay depends most on its condition, then on what's included. Pick your model for its full guide by condition.

Which Cybex models do you buy?

All 6: Cybex Balios S Lux, Cybex Coya, Cybex e-Priam, Cybex Gazelle S, Cybex Mios 3 and Cybex Priam 4. Each has its own price guide, with what we pay in each condition.

What should I send with my Cybex?

Everything it came with that you still have. As standard: Balios S Lux, frame, seat unit and rain cover; Coya, frame and seat unit; e-Priam, frame, seat unit, carrycot, rain cover and adaptors; Gazelle S, frame, seat unit and rain cover; Mios 3, frame and seat unit; Priam 4, frame, seat unit and adaptors. Add the rain cover, adaptors or footmuff if you have them. Missing parts come off the offer, so tell us about them when you get your price.

Do you buy worn or faulty Cybex buggies?

Yes. Well used, and poor or faulty, are conditions we price, so describe your Cybex honestly and the offer reflects it. You still get the free box and free collection.
