How to fold your Cybex Balios S Lux for collection
Folds in one piece with the seat on, into a self-standing package that locks itself.
Get it ready
Step 1: Empty the basket and any pockets.
Step 2: Take off the rain cover, footmuff, cup holder and anything else clipped on. They go in the box too if you told us about them.
Take it apart
Step 3: If you have a carry cot or car seat on, take it off first.
Step 4: Fold the sun canopy all the way back.
Fold the frame
Step 5: Put the brake on.
Step 6: Press the button on the back of the seat and fold the backrest forwards and down.
Step 7: Press the fold button on the underside of the handlebar and fold the top of the handlebar over until it clicks.
Step 8: Push the handlebar forwards and down so the frame folds.
Step 9: Check the fold lock on the side of the frame has clicked shut.
Good to know
- Turn the front wheels so they trail behind the front legs before you fold. It folds flatter that way.
Pack the box
Step 10: Put the folded frame in the box first, wheels down.
Step 11: Slide the seat unit or carrycot in beside it, then tuck the small bits into the gaps. A carrier bag keeps them together.
Step 12: Tape the box shut along every seam. There is no label to print: the DPD driver brings it.
Buttons and handles move about a little between production years. If yours looks different, the fold steps in your manual are the ones to follow.
