How to fold your Cybex Priam 4 for collection
Seat unit or carry cot comes off, then the frame folds down flat and locks.
Get it ready
Step 1: Empty the basket and any pockets.
Step 2: Take off the rain cover, footmuff, cup holder and anything else clipped on. They go in the box too if you told us about them.
Take it apart
Step 3: Fold the sun canopy all the way back.
Step 4: Press the release buttons on both sides of the seat unit and lift it off the frame.
Step 5: If you have the carry cot on, press the release buttons on both sides and lift it off.
Fold the frame
Step 6: Put the brake on.
Step 7: Press the fold button on the underside of the handlebar.
Step 8: Push the handlebar down until it clicks.
Step 9: Lift the frame so the rear wheels swing forwards and the frame folds flat.
Step 10: Check the fold lock on the side of the frame has clicked shut.
Good to know
- If the box is tight, all four wheels come off. Press the release button by each wheel and pull the wheel away.
- If you keep the seat on, pull the lever on the back of the seat and fold the backrest down before you fold the frame.
Pack the box
Step 11: Put the folded frame in the box first, wheels down.
Step 12: Slide the seat unit or carrycot in beside it, then tuck the small bits into the gaps. A carrier bag keeps them together.
Step 13: Tape the box shut along every seam. There is no label to print: the DPD driver brings it.
Buttons and handles move about a little between production years. If yours looks different, the fold steps in your manual are the ones to follow.
