How to fold your Cybex Mios 3 for collection
Seat unit or carry cot comes off, then the frame folds into a compact, self-standing package.
Watch it first
Get it ready
Step 1: Empty the basket and any pockets. No need to clean it: we wash every buggy.
Step 2: Take off the rain cover, footmuff, cup holder and anything else clipped on. They go in the box too if you told us about them.
Take it apart
Step 3: Fold the sun canopy all the way back.
Step 4: Press the release buttons on both sides of the seat unit and lift it off the frame.
Step 5: If you have the carry cot on, press its release buttons on both sides and lift it off.
Fold the frame
Step 6: Put the brake on.
Step 7: Press the fold button on the underside of the handlebar and fold the top of the handlebar over until it clicks.
Step 8: Push the handlebar down towards the wheels until it clicks.
Step 9: Check the frame is folded and locked, then stand it up.
Good to know
- If the box is tight, all four wheels come off. Press the release button by each wheel and pull the wheel away.
- If you keep the seat on, pull the lever on the back of the seat and fold the backrest forwards before you fold the frame.
Pack the box
Step 10: Put the folded frame in the box first, wheels down.
Step 11: Slide the seat unit or carrycot in beside it, then tuck the small bits into the gaps. A carrier bag keeps them together.
Step 12: Close the flaps and re-seal the box with the roll of tape we sent: along the middle seam, over the ends and down the sides.
Step 13: Peel the backing off the wallet, with the FedEx label still inside, and stick it on top beside the tape, over any old labels. There is nothing to print.
Buttons and handles move about a little between production years. If yours looks different, the fold steps in your manual are the ones to follow.
