How to fold your iCandy Core for collection
Seat or carrycot off, then the frame folds from the handlebar button and lifts shut, with the seat packed alongside.
Get it ready
Step 1: Empty the basket and any pockets.
Step 2: Take off the rain cover, footmuff, cup holder and anything else clipped on. They go in the box too if you told us about them.
Take it apart
Step 3: Close the canopy.
Step 4: Press the release buttons on both sides of the seat unit or carrycot and lift it straight up off the frame.
Step 5: Take off any carrycot or car seat adaptors.
Fold the frame
Step 6: Press the brake pedal down so the wheels are locked.
Step 7: Squeeze the fold button under the centre of the handlebar.
Step 8: Keep it squeezed and push the handlebar all the way down.
Step 9: Fold the handlebar forwards and down over the frame.
Step 10: Pull up on the strap marked "LIFT HERE" to close the frame.
Good to know
- The frame can also fold with the seat on if it faces forwards and is fully reclined, but the seat off gives the smallest package for the box.
- The rear wheels come off if the box is tight: press the button in the centre of each rear wheel and pull it off.
Pack the box
Step 11: Put the folded frame in the box first, wheels down.
Step 12: Slide the seat unit or carrycot in beside it, then tuck the small bits into the gaps. A carrier bag keeps them together.
Step 13: Tape the box shut along every seam. There is no label to print: the DPD driver brings it.
Buttons and handles move about a little between production years. If yours looks different, the fold steps in your manual are the ones to follow.
