How to fold your Silver Cross Tide for collection
Carrycot off, then the frame folds with the seat on, facing forward, and locks shut.
Get it ready
Step 1: Empty the basket and any pockets.
Step 2: Take off the rain cover, footmuff, cup holder and anything else clipped on. They go in the box too if you told us about them.
Take it apart
Step 3: If the carrycot is fitted, lift it off the frame.
Step 4: Take off any car seat adaptors.
Fold the frame
Step 5: Fit the seat facing forward if it is not already.
Step 6: Close the canopy and push the handlebar all the way in.
Step 7: Press the button under the handlebar.
Step 8: Pull up the fold triggers on both sides of the handlebar.
Step 9: Push the handlebar down until the frame folds and clicks locked.
Good to know
- Folded, the Tide stands up on its own, so you can lower it into the box upright.
Pack the box
Step 10: Put the folded frame in the box first, wheels down.
Step 11: Slide the seat unit or carrycot in beside it, then tuck the small bits into the gaps. A carrier bag keeps them together.
Step 12: Tape the box shut along every seam. There is no label to print: the DPD driver brings it.
Buttons and handles move about a little between production years. If yours looks different, the fold steps in your manual are the ones to follow.
