How to fold your Silver Cross Wave for collection

Step 1: Empty the basket and any pockets.

Step 2: Take off the rain cover, footmuff, cup holder and anything else clipped on. They go in the box too if you told us about them.

Step 3: Close the canopy.

Step 4: Pull the release buttons on both sides of the seat and lift the seat off.

Step 5: If the carrycot is fitted instead, press its release buttons on both sides and lift it off.

Step 6: Take off the cup holder and any car seat or tandem adaptors.

Step 7: Lock the front wheels so they cannot swivel.

Step 8: Put the brake on.

Step 9: Press and hold the fold release button on the handlebar.

Step 10: Pull the fold release triggers on both sides of the handlebar towards you.

Step 11: Push the handlebar down gently until the frame folds flat.

Step 12: Close the fold lock strap on the side of the frame until it clicks.

Step 13: Put the folded frame in the box first, wheels down.

Step 14: Slide the seat unit or carrycot in beside it, then tuck the small bits into the gaps. A carrier bag keeps them together.

Step 15: Tape the box shut along every seam. There is no label to print: the DPD driver brings it.
