How to fold your Bugaboo Bee 6 for collection
Folds in one piece with the seat on, in either direction, and stands up on its kickstand.
Get it ready
Step 1: Empty the basket and any pockets.
Step 2: Take off the rain cover, footmuff, cup holder and anything else clipped on. They go in the box too if you told us about them.
Fold the frame
Step 3: Put the brake on and close the canopy.
Step 4: Pull the recline lever on the back of the seat and move the seat so it lines up with the handlebar.
Step 5: Undo the handlebar locks, push the handlebar down and clip the locks shut again.
Step 6: Press the buttons on both sides of the handlebar to collapse the frame.
Step 7: Lift it up and use the front leg to stand it up on its own.
Good to know
- World-facing, pull the seat back in line with the handlebar. Parent-facing, bring the seat all the way forward instead.
Pack the box
Step 8: Put the folded frame in the box first, wheels down.
Step 9: Slide the seat unit or carrycot in beside it, then tuck the small bits into the gaps. A carrier bag keeps them together.
Step 10: Tape the box shut along every seam. There is no label to print: the DPD driver brings it.
Buttons and handles move about a little between production years. If yours looks different, the fold steps in your manual are the ones to follow.
