How to fold your Bugaboo Butterfly 2 for collection
Folds in one piece with the seat on, then the carry handle tucks down.
Watch it first
Get it ready
Step 1: Empty the basket and any pockets. No need to clean it: we wash every buggy.
Step 2: Take off the rain cover, footmuff, cup holder and anything else clipped on. They go in the box too if you told us about them.
Fold the frame
Step 3: Press and hold both buttons in the middle of the handlebar at the same time.
Step 4: Keep the buttons held in and collapse the pushchair.
Step 5: Pull up the small lever by the carry handle.
Step 6: Push the carry handle down out of the way.
Good to know
- If it will not fold, check it is fully open and locked first, then press both buttons firmly and evenly.
Pack the box
Step 7: Put the folded frame in the box first, wheels down.
Step 8: Slide the seat unit or carrycot in beside it, then tuck the small bits into the gaps. A carrier bag keeps them together.
Step 9: Close the flaps and re-seal the box with the roll of tape we sent: along the middle seam, over the ends and down the sides.
Step 10: Peel the backing off the wallet, with the FedEx label still inside, and stick it on top beside the tape, over any old labels. There is nothing to print.
Buttons and handles move about a little between production years. If yours looks different, the fold steps in your manual are the ones to follow.
