How to fold your Bugaboo Butterfly 2 for collection
Folds in one piece with the seat on, then the carry handle tucks down.
Get it ready
Step 1: Empty the basket and any pockets.
Step 2: Take off the rain cover, footmuff, cup holder and anything else clipped on. They go in the box too if you told us about them.
Fold the frame
Step 3: Press and hold both buttons in the middle of the handlebar at the same time.
Step 4: Keep the buttons held in and collapse the pushchair.
Step 5: Pull up the small lever by the carry handle.
Step 6: Push the carry handle down out of the way.
Good to know
- If it will not fold, check it is fully open and locked first, then press both buttons firmly and evenly.
Pack the box
Step 7: Put the folded frame in the box first, wheels down.
Step 8: Slide the seat unit or carrycot in beside it, then tuck the small bits into the gaps. A carrier bag keeps them together.
Step 9: Tape the box shut along every seam. There is no label to print: the DPD driver brings it.
Buttons and handles move about a little between production years. If yours looks different, the fold steps in your manual are the ones to follow.
