How to fold your Bugaboo Butterfly for collection
Folds in one piece with the seat on, using the two buttons on the handlebar.
Get it ready
Step 1: Empty the basket and any pockets.
Step 2: Take off the rain cover, footmuff, cup holder and anything else clipped on. They go in the box too if you told us about them.
Fold the frame
Step 3: Press both white buttons on the handlebar at the same time.
Step 4: Keep them pressed and push the handlebar down and forward.
Step 5: Let the pushchair collapse until it is fully locked in the folded position.
Good to know
- Check no straps or fabric are caught in the folding joints, as they stop it folding.
Pack the box
Step 6: Put the folded frame in the box first, wheels down.
Step 7: Slide the seat unit or carrycot in beside it, then tuck the small bits into the gaps. A carrier bag keeps them together.
Step 8: Tape the box shut along every seam. There is no label to print: the DPD driver brings it.
Buttons and handles move about a little between production years. If yours looks different, the fold steps in your manual are the ones to follow.
