How to fold your Bugaboo Dragonfly for collection

Folds in one piece with the seat or carrycot still on, into a small self-standing package.

Watch it first

Get it ready

  1. Step 1: Empty the basket and any pockets. No need to clean it: we wash every buggy.

  2. Step 2: Take off the rain cover, footmuff, cup holder and anything else clipped on. They go in the box too if you told us about them.

Fold the frame

  1. Step 3: Put the brake on by stepping on the brake pedal.

  2. Step 4: Press the large button on the handlebar and bring the handlebar down until it reaches the FOLD stripe.

  3. Step 5: Press the large button while sliding the FOLD button to either side.

  4. Step 6: Lift the handlebar up and bring the front of the pushchair towards you.

  5. Step 7: Let the seat or carrycot fold down with the frame until it stands up on its own.

Good to know

  • If the carrycot does not fold, pull the strap at its foot end towards you and let go. Pull it up, never push down on it.

Pack the box

  1. Step 8: Put the folded frame in the box first, wheels down.

  2. Step 9: Slide the seat unit or carrycot in beside it, then tuck the small bits into the gaps. A carrier bag keeps them together.

  3. Step 10: Close the flaps and re-seal the box with the roll of tape we sent: along the middle seam, over the ends and down the sides.

  4. Step 11: Peel the backing off the wallet, with the DPD label still inside, and stick it on top beside the tape, over any old labels. There is nothing to print.

Buttons and handles move about a little between production years. If yours looks different, the fold steps in your manual are the ones to follow.
